In addition to our audit services, we provide consulting services to community banks and credit unions. These consulting services primarily relate to information security and information technology governance. The services we offer include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assistance Resolving Enforcement Actions: As some of our auditors are previous regulatory examiners, we understand the process and have helped many institutions resolved issues from memorandums of understanding, documents of resolution, formal agreements, cease and desist orders, and consent orders.
Development of Policies and Procedures: We have helped many institutions with development policies and procedures. These development assistance is common for de novo banks, or those adding new products or services. We provide many sample policies in our “Resources” section. These may be used free of charge, but we will gladly help you modify these or other documents to fit your instiution’s specific needs.
Evaluating New Products and Services: We have helped many banks and credit unions review the strategic and operational risks with new products and services.
Consulting and IT Audits: We understand the needs of financial institutions and have positioned ourselves as a partner. For all of our audit clients, we allow up to one-hour of free consulting per month. This helps minimize the number of findings that occur at each audit.
